About 20 million pesos managed to gather the inhabitants of the township to start works in the temple that has been built more than 60 years ago.
With a gesture of will, the inhabitants of the corregimiento of Minca, seek to rebuild the roof of the Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, in view that was about to collapse.
As of this week, the works began under the leadership of the parish priest Ismael Torres, the mayor of the town 3 Víctor Riatiga Peñaranda, the Community Action Board and the parish committee, who through activities, managed to collect 20 million weights for the purchase of materials. However, they affirm that the budget does not reach enough to complete this work in this sacred temple that has been built 75 years ago.
The leader calls on the Samaritan community to join this noble cause to restore the house of God of this village, through donations with materials or money, which may be deposited in a savings account of Banco Popular N 22040800277-2 and whose account holder is the Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
