Under the program Colombia Clean strategy Vice Ministry of Tourism, the District Municipality of Santa Marta, through the Management of Tourist Projects led a cleanup day in Minca.
Participating in the activity were: the Public Services Company of Santa Marta- Essmar-, the promoter of Minca, the Tourism Police, guardians of heritage and the community in general.
During the development of the activity it was possible to collect 10 tons of garbage which were found throughout the village. The campaign 'Colombia limpia', a strategy that aims to ensure that tourists, local communities and service providers properly handle waste in the most visited places in the country.
